Terms and Conditions

1 Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of hotel rooms for accommodation as well as all other related services and deliveries of the hotel.

2 Conclusion of contract

An accommodation contract is concluded as soon as a booking is made by the guest and confirmed by the hotel in writing or electronically.

3 Services, prices, payment
- The guest is obliged to pay the agreed prices for the provision of the room and the other services used by him.
- All prices include the statutory value added tax.
- The hotel is entitled to demand an appropriate advance payment or security deposit upon conclusion of the contract or thereafter.
- Payments can be made in cash, by EC/credit card or by bank transfer.

4 Cancellation by the guest (non-utilisation of the service)
- Cancellation free of charge is possible up to [e.g. 48 hours] before the day of arrival.
- In the event of later cancellation or non-appearance (no-show), the hotel reserves the right to charge [e.g. 80%] of the agreed price.
- Cancellations must be made in writing.

5 Cancellation by the hotel
- The hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract for objectively justified reasons (e.g. force majeure, unreasonable booking circumstances, failure to make agreed advance payments).
- In such a case, the guest will be informed immediately and any payments already made will be refunded.

6 Room provision and return
- Booked rooms are available to the guest from [e.g. 15:00] on the day of arrival.
- On the day of departure, the rooms must be vacated by [e.g. 11:00 a.m.] at the latest.
- A later departure requires prior agreement and may incur additional costs.

7 Liability of the hotel
- The hotel is liable for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health as well as gross negligence or intent in accordance with the statutory provisions.
- The hotel is liable for property brought into the hotel in accordance with the statutory provisions (§§ 701 ff. BGB), up to a maximum amount of € 3,500, and for valuables, cash or valuables up to € 800.
- Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8 Liability of the guest

The guest is liable for all damage caused by him, fellow travellers or visitors to the hotel's property during his stay.

9. House rules

The guest undertakes to comply with the hotel's house rules. In particular, smoking is prohibited in the rooms. Additional cleaning costs may be charged for violations.

10. Data protection

The guest's personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of processing the booking and complying with statutory regulations. Further details can be found in the privacy policy.

11. Final provisions
- Amendments or additions to the contract and these GTC must be made in writing.
- German law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is the hotel's registered office, provided the guest is a merchant or legal entity.
- Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
